Remi's Story

Hi! My name is Remi! I came to live with my foster here at ARTS a few months ago. I hadn’t been cared for properly in some time, and I’ve been through a lot. I’ve had many litters of puppies but thanks to ARTS those days are behind me. Since coming in I’ve been spayed and had a number of mammary lumps removed. I’ve also had a dental so my teeth are now bright and shiny and my breath is fresh as a daisy!!

I am a very very affectionate girl. I want to cuddle with you always and I love everyone, it doesn’t matter if they walk on two feet or four. I like kitties but I really like to play with them so if they aren’t dog savvy kitties they may be annoyed by that. I am house trained and I do not chew or wreck things. I would thrive in a home with kids or another active dog to keep me company.

I know I’m a senior, but I don’t act like one. I get a little bit sad when left alone so it’s best if you have a lot of time to spend with me. I guess everyone has a bad habit or two, so I’ll tell you mine. I’m an escape artist. For me a very secure yard with a high fence is a requirement. I’m a pretty good climber so a 4ft fence won’t keep me in, sorry. In my past life I was allowed to roam the streets so this has been an adjustment for me.
