Jinx's Story

hi, I’m Jinx! My Foster Mom says I’m a sweet 17 year old boy who was delivered to their house just before Christmas after my old owner passed away. I’m healthy and enjoy playing in the morning when I have the most energy. It took me a little time to warm up but when I realized I was in a safe place I started to relax. I love to purr and will curl up with you…eventually!

My Foster Mom laughs at me as I can be a little clumsy and my run just has to be seen as there is no way to describe it. They say I’m a spoiled boy as I have three cat beds, the red one is my favourite but I really prefer curling up in the comforter from my previous human bed. Yes, I had my own double bed! Hmmm, maybe I am spoiled…

So far I haven’t tried to jump on the counters, in fact I haven’t even gone in to the kitchen. Sometimes, I let out a little squeak when I jump on the couch and can be really talkative/demanding of attention. I also really like to be pet with these special gloves that remove my lose hair, I love how shiny they make my coat. My foster mom says I have zero litterbox issues so I'm a gentleman!

I seem to really enjoy the company of men, but I will warm up to the whole family, as long as the kids are calm and gentle. I don't really want to live with other pets as they are strange, and at 17 I want to retire in a home all my own.
