Cindy's Story

​

Hello everyone my name is Cindy Lou! I am a 12 year old Maltese Mix with a whole lot of fluffy hair and spunk. My typical day consists of first jumping into bed with my foster mom when I hear her alarm go off for some cuddles, kisses and tummy rubs. Then it’s food time. I enjoy eating soft, hydrated food that helps with preventing bladder stones.

 

I love to run outside with my dog siblings, play tag with them and bask in the sunshine. I spend the majority of my day as a dedicated lap dog who likes to nap and occasionally snore. I still get bursts of energy in my older age and even the zoomies. I love playing with plush toys and chewing on them. And if you have treats, I will happily entertain you by sitting and shaking a paw for them. I love treats.

 

One thing you should know about me is that I do like space and boundaries when I’m laying down. That is especially true in the evening when I can’t really see because it is dark. I will always let you know when I want space and then when I’m ready for love, will smoother you with kisses and snuggles. I sleep in my own bed at night with my toys and soft blankets.

 

 I am fully trained to go outside and don’t have accidents indoors. If you need a house patrol officer then I’m your girl. I may be small, but I will sound the alarm when the Amazon guy delivers a package or a squirrel tries to break in. I take my job seriously.

 

I recently had a big surgery where I had almost all my teeth removed, a bladder stone and some “old lady moles” on my back. I’m feeling fabulous now and I look even better!

 

My foster parents think I’m a total sweetheart that just wants to be with my people as much as I can. I will go with you on walks, car rides or any adventure you want. Please apply here to meet me; I can’t wait to meet you and spoil you with hugs and kisses!
