Hunter's Story
Hello everyone – my name is Hunter. I’ve had a bewildering few months after being rescued by ARTS but now I’m recovered and ready for a forever home! I’m big and handsome and a bit goofy – always making my foster mom laugh with my antics.
I’ve become very comfortable and relaxed, although new people or loud noises can scare me and send me running to safety under the bed. Generally, though, my nature is happy, friendly, energetic and loving. Oh, and by the way, I love to talk a lot to my people and let them know how much I love them. I love cuddles, and often sleep on my mom’s chest at night – she loves that and so do I!
I really live up to my name and am a masterful hunter with squeaky toys, mice and especially the ones stuffed with catnip. I often bring my prey back to my foster mom while exclaiming to her the whole time that I am bringing her a gift. Then I wait for her to throw it again – super fun games!!
After trying out several kinds of food, I’m now eating only hypoallergenic kibble, which I love. I never touch my sister’s food bowls, so there are no worries about me eating the wrong food! Also, I do like to chew on green plants around the house, so please be careful about those that might hurt me I have a couple of other health issues that are being worked on, but I am strong, healthy and a really good looking boy!
My mom has bird feeders and I have become quite curious about the outdoors. I love to watch the birds and blue jays at their feeders and try to ‘escape’ periodically. I make my foster mom giggle a lot with all the goofy things I do I hope you will give me a chance to entertain you as I would really love to find my forever home!
Apply today if you think you could give me the purrfect home!
