Eli's Story

From stray to distinguished gentleman, Eli will be the best companion one could hope for. He is the sweetest cat we've ever met. He is so gentle, yet still playful and silly at times. He will snuggle or sit in the sunshine all day, and he is a happy boy so long as he gets his wet food (friskies is life according to Eli).

Eli is so patient! His young human foster brothers carry him around and dress him up and he has never gotten close to scratching or hissing, he seems totally unfussed by them. He has dog sat with us and is tolerant but stands his ground. He hasn't lived with another cat but given his personality we think he might be okay with one. 

Eli has had a really long road when it comes to his health. He had been living wild for a while before he came to ARTS and his diabetes was totally uncontrolled. He is a lot more stable these days, but he will need someone who can give him insulin consistently, and he will have a dental done before going to his new home.
