Scotty's Story

If you’re looking for a real-life teddy bear then look no further because here I am, Scotty! I'm smaller than I look and no one is quite sure what breed I am, but my foster family suspects i'm some kind of terrier mix. I absolutely love people so if you are looking for a constant companion I'm the dog for you. Giving grade A snuggles on the couch is my forte, but I also still love to go for walks and I have plenty of pep in my step. I'm pretty easy going as long as I'm with my people and I would love to explore the neighborhood with you. I get along great with my foster dog brother and I like meeting new friends on our walks. I am not being fostered with a cat but i have sniffed a few and i don't mind them.

I used to live in a house with a lot of people and I was never alone, so my pack is especially important to me. They are so important to me that I get pretty anxious when i'm left behind and I will bark a lot when you aren't home. That's why the ARTS adoption team says I must go to a home where someone is around all the time or can bring me to work with them- and not just during Covid. Otherwise everyone says i'm a very good boy and sweet as pie.

If you are looking for a new best friend I know the team would love to talk to you, so please fill out an online application asap so that I can meet you!
