From her foster: Unlike her name, this little miss has a giant of a personality that shows no signs of stopping! Minnie is a spunky senior with tons of life and love to give. She adores going for walks, and if her tiny stature matched her attitude she would drag you right down the street. We try to count how often her feet actually touch the ground. They move so fast it looks like shes floating! Though she is thriving , her life was rife with adversity. She came to us in need of surgery for a large mass which ended up being a very large hernia. She had to have major dental surgery as well and is now down to just a few little chompers. She was also very fearful at the start and quite reactive. She has overcome so much and becime such an absolute joy. She loves meeting people and is friendly with most dogs. She can be vocal when new people enter her space, but she quickly overcomes it when she realizes the attention she is going to get. Though she is very social, due to her diminutive size , Minnie would be safest in a home with children over 14, and very respectful cats or dogs. She loves hiding in blankies and clothes, getting yummy snacks and sitting on your head like a queen. If she wants to share , she will sit pretty and beg with her little paws at you or the dogs to please move over and share. Minnie has no diet limitations other than her kibbles need to be soaked or she should have soft food. Minnie can be a bit bossy ( whaaaaat?! A chihuahua, no waaay ). So she should be monitored while eating or in " her " bed to ensure she behaves herself. Sound like the kind of fun you are in to? Send ARTS a message and bring this spunky little sass pot home!
