Leah & Maggie's Story

Hi, my name is Leah, yes just like the princess.  My subjects say that I am a Border collie cross. I am black and white in color with a bit of experience gray.  I have 12 years of experience as a princess.  My loyal subjects have found that I like my food a certain way and if it isn’t piled just right I believe it doesn’t taste the same. I love a good head scratch and under chin as well.  And if you forget to scratch me I will remind you with a gentle touch of my paw. Walks are great, I am working on taking longer walks as I have lost a few pounds.  After a good walk I enjoy following it up with a well-deserved nap. My best friend is Maggie, who you will hear about in a moment, we had been best buds for a long time now. I like most dogs I am pretty chill.

Hi my name is Maggie, I’m pretty sure I was named after the Rod Stewart song “Maggie May” I am a Corgi cross Brindle in color.  I love to go for long walks. I love to smell everything as it is so interesting.  Sometimes I get so engrossed that I have to be reminded we are still on a walk.  My Sister Leah is a bit picky with her food, not me I love all food.  I am however very polite and never beg.  One of my favorite things to do is get belly rubs, in fact if you are petting my sister I will interrupt you so I can get my turn.  I am pretty protective of my sister I don’t care for other animals bugging us.  At home, like my sister I am very quiet and polite.  I’m not sure what they mean by this, but I am told I have attitude and personality.  When I play ball I strut with the ball in my mouth back to my bed and to be honest I am rather proud about it.

My sister and I are what you call bonded, we need to be adopted together.  We love our foster family, but are really excited in being adopted.  So if you are looking for a couple of dogs that will make you smile and feel loved, we are perfect for you.  We are both very easy going, we walk great on leads.  We enjoy life and if you let us, we can show you the finer things in life.  If you think we'd make a great addition to your family (trust us, we will!), please fill our an application form and our friends over at ARTS will give you a call!

Lots of love,

Maggie and Leah xoxo
