Age: 17-18 years old
Kids: Older kids only
Elevated kidney function (is on prescription food), mild cataracts, hearing impaired
Annie is an affectionate kitty who loves to be the centre of attention. She is quite cuddly and will easily fall asleep on your lap. Even though Annie only weighs 6 pounds, she loves to eat wet food and cat treats (and often a nibble of what you’re eating). When Annie first came to her foster home, she was quiet and confused but has since come out of her shell in the past few months. The vet recently removed some of her teeth and she seems much happier now. Annie has mild cataracts and is mostly deaf. Since she can’t hear, she doesn’t meow very often. Annie is elderly and most likely has some arthritis so she usually does not like to be pet on her back, usually just on her head. Despite this, when she is not napping she loves to walk (or run) around the house exploring and can easily jump up on to couches and beds. She eats renal cat food because of elevated kidney levels seen in her blood test. She is nervous and tense around other cats, so a home without other kitties would be preferable. Annie is a gentle sweetheart with lots of love to share.
